Financial Support

VLEIF funding comes from two sources:  Investment income and Club and individual donations.

Investment income accounts for 70% of the funds required to support our annual balanced budget of $90,000.

The 30% which comes from clubs and individual donations is absolutely essential if we are to support the Joe Lipomi Memorial Grant (Scholarship) program for legally blind students of the District.

Club and individual donations are also essential to continue updating and maintaining the equipment of the Lions Eye Clinic and the Low Vision Centers.

The funds required to support the demand for scholastic grants is dependent upon club and individual donations.
